SSC100
The SSC 100 consists of a display unit with a built in microphone and a 32 Amp contactor box. The display is mounted opposite the performing area and the contactor being installed in the mains ring that is being controlled. A low voltage cable connects the display and contactor. A single adjustment sets the level at which the SSC100 will cut off the power if the sound level is exceeded for more than 20 seconds (internally adjustable). The unit automatically resets after 10 seconds or manual reset can be specified. There is a security loop facility (eg. fire doors), the weighting can be set for linear or Bass measurement, there is also a connection for an external microphone if required. There are optional push button or key switch remote reset boxes, the front panel reset switch can be disabled.
SSC200
The SSC 200 also consists of a display unit with a built in microphone and a separate 32 Amp contactor unit. The display unit has all of the options mentioned on the SSC 100 with many more built in. A fire alarm interface is included, 2 level settings, warning lamp output and 4 measurement filters (Linear, Bass , C and A weighting) to mention a few. The optional push button and key switch remote boxes can be used as well as a remote level 2 select switch. If a larger contactor is needed then the mains coil contactor output drive can be utilised. A remote display can also be connected to the main display unit.

SSC1000
The SSC1000 is an analogue, stereo automatic volume controller, which means the dynamics of the sound remain the same, whereas compressors alter the sound. If the average operating level is kept below the internally set threshold, the SSC1000 has no effect. If the average programme level exceeds the threshold the unit will reduce its output level. The level is reduced in discreet steps indicated by the LED bargraph meter on the front panel of the unit. The action of the SSC1000 is to fade between these steps and it is almost undetectable in use. The more the volume is increased, the more the SSC1000 will decrease it so that the system will barely change in perceived level.
